hello, my name is Xin Wei. i’m a 19-year-old in denial about her age, and i am in love with John and Vinny. drawing makes me happy. drawing them makes me extra happy.
The Original Idea:
the concept is taken from Peter Pan, one of my favoritest fairy tales out there, as John and Vinny are quite like Peter Pan and The Lost Boys: they love to have fun and they don’t ever grow up. except John and Vinny are 17-year-olds stuck in the 1980s time period. i’d like to think that they’re here to remind us about the simplest happiness in life, and that happiness, little moments like these, are the most important.
The Idea NOW:
due to my lack of creativity, this blog is now going to be about The Lost Boys in OUR time period. imagine time travelers. imagine the world through their eyes. imagine fandoms, k-pop, animes, series and movies of today through John and Vinny’s eyes! the ask box is ALWAYS open for you to throw in suggestions so i can draw stuff related to today! they’re more of a representation of my opinion, in a way. but also, don’t forget that they still ARE from the 80s and they will NEVER grow old! (hurrah for the wonders of imagination!)
